🐍 CobraPRESS Design Update — Pyramid Head Geometry/ Density.

I wanted to share another honest design update and show you where our attention is focused right now.
The handle and stand are looking excellent and have reached the level of quality and finish we were aiming for. Finishing touches on the silicone will be improved even further in production, but these pieces are ready to go. The remaining work is centered on the most important functional component of the entire system: the pyramid head.
We are currently running multiple iterations of the pyramid head to match the density and feel of the original 3D-printed prototype you can see in the background of the photo below. That prototype established the performance benchmark for how CobraPRESS should interact with muscle tissue.
As you can see from the pyramid in the foreground, the molded version is not yet the correct shape. The differences are subtle visually, but very meaningful in use. Because the pyramid tip is the point that transfers force into the body, its geometry directly determines the treatment effect.
To help achieve the correct density and tactile response, we are now developing a honeycomb internal insert inside the pyramid head. This structure allows us to better control stiffness, weight, and load transfer so the molded version can reproduce the same feel as the prototype with a solid, silent feel.
We are continuing to refine the shape and internal structure until the pyramid produces the same predictable, controlled pressure we designed it for. The goal is very specific: the pyramid must create the right conditions for ischemic compression to help deactivate muscle tension and deliver the relief CobraPRESS was designed to provide.
This phase requires iteration and measurement, and we are committed to getting it right before moving forward.

🐍 CobraPRESS Engineering Update — Pyramid Head Tooling.

Dear CobraPRESS Backers, ✨
I wanted to share a clear engineering update so you know exactly where things stand.
I’ve now received the tooling for the core CobraPRESS components, and those tools have been reviewed and are complete.
The only tooling still being finalized is for the pyramid heads. The reason is straightforward: we are finalizing the exact apex geometry because we are producing two separate pyramid heads with two different material densities (a firmer head and a softer head). Since the pyramid tip is the functional interface with the body, small differences in point feel can create large differences in perceived pressure and comfort—especially when you change density.
Before cutting the final pyramid tooling, we’re validating the design so that:
• The firm head delivers focused, repeatable pressure without feeling overly sharp
• The soft head provides a more forgiving feel while maintaining precision and control
• Both heads remain consistent and predictable across manufacturing batches, and, the same tooling can be used for both heads!
From a creator’s standpoint, this is the right order of operations: define performance first with factory made prototypes, then finalize the tool, rather than cutting steel and trying to “tune” the feel after the fact.
Everything else is aligned and moving forward. This last step is simply to ensure that both pyramid options perform as intended and feel clearly distinct in a good way.

🐍 One Final Detail — Perfecting the CobraPRESS Click

Thank you again for being part of this journey. As we move through the final steps before full production, I wanted to share a small but meaningful refinement we’re working on right now, one that you’ll feel every time you use CobraPRESS.
When you switch between the different pyramid heads, you’ll feel a mechanical click as the head locks into place. It’s an important moment, it gives you confidence that the head is fully secured before you start working on a muscle zone.
Right now we’re finalizing one detail in the locking mechanism to make sure that click feels:
✔︎ Crisp and satisfying
✔︎ Secure (with no play or looseness)
✔︎ Easy to change with one hand
This refinement is not about the pressure you apply to your muscles, it’s specifically about the attachment mechanism. We want that feedback to feel intentional, solid, and premium every time you change the head.
It’s a small adjustment, but it’s the kind of detail that elevates the experience from “works well” to “I love using this”.
As soon as the final mechanism is dialed in, we’ll share a quick video and some close-up photos so you can see (and almost hear) the difference.

Over the coming weeks I will be posting updates with production photos of tooling, molding and assembling CobraPRESS at various stages of the manufacturing process.
I’ve been getting lots of enquiries about the Power Pyramid, the vibrating head add-on for the CobraPRESS. Although we did not meet our stretch goal for this feature, we are having the factory quote the tooling cost for this exciting add-on to see if there’s a way to still make it happen.

Wow, that was fast! Nice work, early birds. We smashed through our target funding goal in 2 hours.
